There are two ways to stop creditors from calling you. One way is to hire an attorney to represent you with respect to your debts. Once you’ve informed a creditor that you’ve hired an attorney to represent you with respect to that debt, the creditor is then required by federal law to communicate only with your attorney and not with you.
The other way to stop creditor phone calls is to send your creditors a Cease Communication letter asking them to put any communication to you in writing rather than contacting you by telephone.
